MacQueen Systems is a fast-growing GC in Chilliwack taking on a wide range of custom residential renovations—kitchens, bathrooms, additions, exteriors, and full-home transformations. We’re looking for a well-rounded carpenter who thrives in the start-to- finish flow of a project and isn’t afraid to wear a few different hats throughout the week.
You’ll be involved in every phase of the job—from demo to final touch-ups—and play a key role in delivering quality work our clients rave about.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prep and paint walls, ceilings, and trim
- Perform drywall installation, mudding, and repairs
- Install tile (backsplashes, floors, showers)
- Fit and hang interior/exterior doors
- Install baseboards, casing, crown molding, and trim
- Handle siding and soffit repairs
- Perform light framing and structural mods
- Final finish carpentry and punch list touch-ups
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional
- And more, if it needs to be done, expect to do it, and do it well
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on carpentry in residential renovations
- Full project lifecycle experience (demo to detail work)
- Can communicate clearly with project managers (materials, issues, timelines)
- Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
- Comfortable working solo or as part of a fast-moving crew
- Valid BC driver’s license and reliable transportation
